They didn't dominate and obviously didn't win by 2 or more TDs, but it was a comfortable win. There really wasn't any time in the 2nd half where I felt NDSU was going to lose.

Interesting moment in the game...Northern Iowa threw a completed pass to a WIDE OPEN receiver...the receiver turns up field looks like he's destined to walk into the end zone for a huge TD; then the receiver does one thing that I didn't think would happen in that situation!! He TRIPS over the 40 yard line and falls flat on his face!! After that happened I knew it was going to be NDSU day!

UNI still ended up scoring on that drive so its not like that play hurt them much.

yeah UNI scored on that drive...with a little help

The late hit call was correct...the interference call was awful.

All in all, CONGRATS to the BISON...Bring on that #1 Ranking

The interference call was terrible and even that late hit call was bad. It happened right in front of me. The UNI player was forced out of bounds then hit as he stepped out. The ref had not blown his whistle. And the defender that hit him out of bounds, can't remember who it was, barely even touched him. Was a bad call.

The late hit was legit...got to see it from a side angle (even with the out-of-bounds line). The UNI player was out-of-bounds for about two steps...play is dead then. The NDSU player did lower his shoulder to hit him...different story had he just gone into him straight up.

If the ref would have blown his whistle a little earlier tho then the hit out of bounds wouldnt have happened. The play is dead yes after the player goes out of bounds, but the defense is listening for the whistle and since the ball carrier was barely out of bounds and there was no whistle right away he was hit by the next defender. Yes, I guess it was late, but the ref was a little late with the whistle.

Semi easy road to the semis?

Nothing is easy in the playoffs...but they definitely got a good draw. Essentially NDSU could host a playoff game all the way through to the Final (nuetral site: Frisco, TX)

Towson is on a great storybook season this year. Last year they were 1-10, this year they are 9-2; quite the turnaround!!

Towson likes to run the ball: Towson running back Terrance West (124 ypg) leads the nation in rushing touchdowns (27).
Lehigh likes to pass the ball: Lehigh quarterback Chris Lum is second in the passing touchdowns (31).

Bison SHOULD have an easy road to the semi's, especially playing at home. But 'Run's' right, anything can happen in the playoffs. I plan on going to the second and semi playoff game if they win the first one. Go Bison!

Not sure how easy a draw NDSU's bracket is. The teams in their bracket have 12 national championships between them and 20 championship game appearances. No matter what, NDSU's first game is going to be against a former national champion.

The Gophers were a one time national champ and I don't think anyone is fearing them.

I've been watching JMU and EK off and on with the OSU/MIch game and I don't think the Bison have too much to worry about.

James Madison is currently 8-4. They have losses to North Carolina (FBS), New Hampshire (8-3), Old Dominion (10-2), and Maine (8-3). New Hampshire, Old Dom, and Maine are all currently all still alive in the FCS playoffs.

Definitely beatable for NDSU, but they should be a decent opponent.
