UND gets big post from LRSC
Posted: Thu Apr 30, 2009 5:58 pmMy brother is an instructor over at UND and he is telling me that the big post player from LRSC has signed on with UND Women. I watched this young gal play. I believe it was Katie Skarkouva. Excellent player. 6'5" and can run the floor as well as any guard can. Pretty much dominated the Mon-Dak conference IMHO. Uses both hands well.
This is a nice addition. Wife and I only got to one game last year over there. Spent alot of time watching JuCo games (as usual). Brother has season tickets so he will keep me in on the loop on how things go.
UND has capitalized numerous times on picking up random JuCo players from LRSC(Deutsch, Cara Demain sp?, and probably a heck of a lot more I can't remember).
