Free Agents
Tyler Roehl, fullback, Seattle Seahawks
Jerimiah Wurzbacker, tightend, San Diego Chargers
Kole Heckendorf, wide receiver, Green Bay Packers

How many have a legitimate chance of sticking around with these teams? Best of luck to all of them in the future!!

Humber couldn't of asked for a better situation. He was signed by the Colts, who run a Cover 2 defense that calls for press coverage on the corners and undersized speedy linebackers. Humber fits the bill for linebackers. Hes undersized 5'11 and 228, but he has 4.6 speed. He should have a chance to atleast get on the practice squad.

I think it be tough for Heckendorf to make the team. Packers are loaded at WR on their depth chart.

Roehl has a decent shot of practice squad, maybe making the NFL roster. They are thin at RB with only Julius Jones and TJ Duckett. Plus their fullback, Weaver, left for Philly. Roehl has the mentallity to play special teams, so hopefully he can find a spot. One of Seattle's assistant coaches is a former NDSU assistant (Bradley) so that might help keep around for awhile.

Make the 8 Bison signing pro contracts: Williston's Tyler Jangula is going to the New Orleans Saints.

Wonder if Zach Harrington has a shot?

Tough to say, Hunt got drafted few years ago in the 5th round as a center and was only able to get on the practice squad for a couple teams. I'm not sure if Harrington is at the same level as Hunt was so I think it would be tough for teams to give him a look.

Tyler Roehl and Jerimiah Wurzbacker have the most ability to make an NFL roster. Roehl is a very versatile back who can play both the RB and FB positions, which will increase his value. Wurzbacker will also double in positions as a TE and a long snapper. Their versatility will set these guys apart from the rest of the signees.
