Ben Woodside

right now at the begining of the season, woodside is fifth in the nation in scoring, i was wondering if he keeps it up this year and improves a little bit for his senior year, what do you think his chances are at making it to the NBA

To small to play in the NBA, not athletic enough. Maybe 5% tops.

Yeah I agree as of right now he is a overseas kinda player which there is nothing wrong with that because I think its pretty competitive overseas these days. But maybe he'll get a shot at the big time, only time will tell on that.

I think Woody definitely has a legitimate chance of playing pro ball, but the NBA is a little stretch. I think he is a little bit too undersized to compete at that level. He won't get the type of shots off in the NBA like he does at the college level. Even Jeff Boschee couldn't even make the cut after a stellar career at KU. But the closest he'll get to the NBA is probably the NBDL with a team like the Dakota Wizards. Nevertheless he's a great player, one of the better mid-major players in the country.
