I say they are capable of winning one, POSSIBLY two if they play well. But I don't see this team winning a game this year :?

the #4 seed took a dive tonight, so it looks good for the comets if they can survive the first round.  live stats are available on the d2 page of http://www.naia.org along with a game tracker

ugh...i'd hate to be covering that team with a deadline looming and a game that has all the possibility of starting at 10 p.m. (overtimes, slow games, etc.)...

LRSC beat the JV team twice, but also played the varisty in a "scrimmage" game in which LRSC beat Mayville's varisty team at Mayville in October.  LRSC beat them by 7 points.

Coach Graupe has asked to play them in regular season along with UND, but the other teams will only "scrimmage"  LRSC.

No better choice....Him and Tim Miles are the best coaches in the state hands down.

i would just like to say congratulations to the comets. I will be the first one to say that i doubted them and picked them third in the conference. THey had such a great run and almost pulled it off. Way to represent north dakota.

I hear rumors both ways, but I feel he's in it for the long haul.  Let's hope so.

really?

I'd love it if he stayed, but I don't see how Mayville could play him what he's worth.  Taking a horrible 1-27 team to the national tourney 3 years in a row and almost a national championship.  He's obviously a great coach and recruiter and will more than likely move on to a more prestigous job.

I know this is a really stupid question...I was just wondering is making it as far as Mayville really good? I know its not Division 1 by any means but it sounds pretty impressive from what I've read..
