Hi all:  If you haven't had a chance to see the current Mr. Basketball in action, you are missing out.  Travis is putting up some huge numbers for LRSC and he is definitely playing at a completely different level than what he was playing in high school.

Rebecca Fieckert got into her first game last week against Wisconsin.  Kansas is at home for their next 3 games.  I am guessing we will see some good numbers from Rebecca in the coming weeks.

Isn't it great to hear about our ND's best athletes!!

I would love to make a game in Kansas, but my schedule is so full right now.  I am hoping to see former LRSC standout Katie Shafer (who is playing for Northern Arizona) in January when I am down there.  Katie had an excellent game against NDSU on Nov. 19th.

Good to see our local athletes doing so well.

Amber Land from Kulm has played in 3/5 games for Eastern Michigan Eagles. Averaging about 2pts/2 rebounds.

Sweeeet!  Congrats to Amber and I will need to add their website to keep an eye out for her in the news.

Travis Mertens last three games.   25 pts Saturday against Miles City, 28 points against Dawson CC, and 36 last night against MiSU-Bott.

Just a thought, but what about Travis going to NDSU after his two years at LRSC?  He is obviously material for them and improving from game to game, plus getting stronger.  NDSU is young and he could come in as a junior right when they are eligible for the NCAA tournament in 09.  Could he come in as a 3 or a 4?  I am hearing rumors that his girlfriend is being heavily recruited by NDSU for track.  That might be an in-direct pull in that direction as well.

Just a thought.
