You mean like Vince Young, Jamarcus Russell, Tarvaris Jackson and Joe Webb?

and eventually there will be so many of this type coming outa college that each team will pick and choose..

What makes you think this?

Physical ability has so little to do with a QB having success at the NFL level. Guys like Marino, Manning, Montana, and Brady are some of the best all time and they aren't/weren't great athletes, but they are the best at reading defenses and making the correct adjustments.

It was also a trend in the late 90s with Culpepper, McNabb, and Akili Smith. If you don't have it between the ears it doesn't matter how much physical ability you have.

Did I forget to mention Brains? totally agree...but thats needed at every position, even linebacker look at Ray Lewis he was smart enough to get a Lawyer when needed.

Your not thinking deep enough into the fact that 600,000 dads (hypothetical) are slingin their sons at the QB position up from 20,000 (hypothetical) in 1999....these kids in 1999 would have been DE's, TE's....WR....Now they're all going to run the show.....its the gamble being taken, you can also factor in the ones who ruled out major league pitching instead they're going after the QB position also.

The average career span of an NFL'er is 3.5 years even with the long term QB's you mentioned factored in.....I think that term will even lengthen out to 4 or 5 because the equipment is better and the rules are more stringent....but we wont see long term Qb's like the past we will see bigger and stronger and taller and yes, if you insist.... not rocket scientist.
