1st round - only upset I think you might see is Portland over Dallas. I really wish Lakers would have got matched up with Portland or even Memphis. I think both teams could have won a couple against the Lakers.

Conference semis - I think all teams have a shot at an upset, except Dallas, I don't see the Lakers losing here. Boston obviously could beat Miami. OKC/SA could be interesting, I'll be cheering for OKC. I can't stand the Spurs. It would be decent upset if Orlando beat Chicago IMO, but it could happen.

Chi/Mia is probably a coin flip, should be good series. I don't see the Lakers losing in the West. Although, they are the one team I want to see lose the most.

I hope if the Heat and Lakers meet in the Finals the Heat can pull it off. I'm hoping the Lakers continue on this downward spiral they're on right now and lose earlier, but I don't see it happening.

I will say this...San Antonio isn't a guarentee (sp?) winner in 1st round...Go Griz!

Really depends on how serious Ginobili's elbow injury is. Although I still think the Spurs will win the series.

I'm just not too confident in the Spurs this year.

True. They are getting old. Same thing of course with the Celtics.

Derek Rose is a beast. If I was gonna start a franchise today, he would be the one player that I want.

One player, I'll take Lebron. One PG, I'll take Chris Paul.

I'd second that. 41 last night! If I can't have him, I want Westbrook. He's the same thing as Derrick Rose with a little more true point guard in him.

I always go back to what Doug Gottlieb said and I believe it. "Derrick Rose will always be closer to Stephon Marbury than Magic."

Stick with Lebron, He'll have as many assists, alot more Rebounds and Points, when its over.

Really? If you had to start a franchise today your second choice would be Westbrook? Good player but i dont see him as a franchise type player.

I'd take
1. Durant
2. Lebron
3. D-Wade
4. Carmelo Anthony
5. Chris Paul
6. Derrick Rose
7. Dwight Howard
8. Deron Williams
9. Brandon Roy
10. Russell Westbrook

No that was my Thunder bias showing. But out of your list, I'd take him above:
Roy
Williams
Howard
Melo
Rose and Paul are tough ones for me to decide. I think all 3 are about the same.

One of the most unpredictable years in all of the NBA since I would say in the 1970's....and just when I say that it could very well be The Celtics and Lakers.

My assessments, up to the junction

Atlanta is Nasty Big...a fresh team that really could make it to the finals
Rose cant make it the distance all alone
Same goes for Howard
Dirk is the real deal this year but so is Paul,
Lakers? never thought I'd say this but I cant wait till Phil Jackson exits stage left....If they win, I'll puke
Celtics? want them to lose till the play offs start, and then? they make you want to root for them.
Lebron and Wade (I actually sense friction) just slightly but its there, may ruin there chances
Memphis is solid, but no experience in the big game
Spurs are, well lets just say if Manu is going to the hole it will be worth your effort to hurt his other elbow, no wonder Spain won all those Wars.
The Thunder is by far the College team of the NBA...point being, TEAM BALL...Beautiful team...WOW!

the rest are probably done...kinda wish the league would let them get it on a little more but that kind of play teaches a youngen nothing.

Manu is from Argentina.

Maybe because most the Thunder's team could still be in college, haha.

Spanish Conquerors took over a huge part of South America, Central America and Southern North America....that's why the language is throughout.....Perkins hinders the college Thing, but they are the closest...however irrelevant!

I know this, just not sure how Manu applies to Spain winning wars when he is from Argentina.

Yep, he has to keep his composure, nice attack on the basket but I'd get it to KD for those long range threes if I were him.
