Would you agree they are worse than any of the other teams that made similar comebacks? Granted the division is worse too.

They may seem worse right now...but we STILL haven't seen their best lineup...so IMO its still hard to say.

I agree. They've had so many injuries that when they all get healthy they could be a decent team.

You can add Bautista, Pujuls and Reyes to this lineup and they still have the worst bullpen in the AL.

Yeah they should just randomly choose someone out of a hat and he'd close better than Capps

I think they made the right choice after last night's game...Joe Nathan to close from here on out (Perkins as an option against Lefties...kind of a closer by committee...but that committee doesn't include Capps :) )

Twins couldn't win with the AAA club playing...so now we'll try some AA players.

It is really sad to see the lineup they put on the field. They are down to only two, maybe three starters from the beginning of the year. The rest are AAA and AA guys like stated above. But you would think that minor leaguers would at least be able to score a couple of runs once in a while. They've scored what, 1 run in the 3 games of the Chicago series so far? And this is against 2 pitchers that have been struggling all year and a minor league call-up.

Front office has their work cut out for them this off-season. Priority #1 - a real-middle infield. Priority #2 - A horse to lead the starting pitching. If doesn't even have to be an ace, just someone who is going to be healthy all year and can win over 12 games. A horse won't help if they don't have an infield that can make the plays behind him. Priority #3 - middle relief. I think they'll work a new deal with Nathan so he doesn't cost so much plus they've got Perkins on the back end. They've got no one to rely on in the 6th or 7th innings. Duensing probably needs to go back there along with Swarzak.
