NDSU Bison radio contract

Several websites are reporting that NDSU will not award their radio contract to Clear Channel radio. Bad news for Bison radio listners as CC stations across the Midwest wouldve been welcomed. We'll see what WDAY can do to expand Bison radio coverage.

from a radio stand point I disagree with you. CC stations linked across the state with 550 in Bismarck 910 in Minot and flagship of 790 in Fargo are all heritage stations. Nothing better in ND.

BUT i agree on a whole. NDSU is still king in Fargo and WDAY radio is not much in that town. Add in the excellent coverage afforded NDSU by WDAY TV and Forum Comm newspaper linked in Dickinson, Jamestown and now Grand Forks and that is a pretty tough ship to sink.

I'd like to think that Forum newspapers will really carry the Bison torch this coming year.

 I think Forum Comm. does a  pretty good job with the coverage.   Hopefully some more stations across ND start picking up the games it could be a win/win situation for them if they would.
