Are you Kidding me right now. The Lakers would destroy everyone if they had Lebron. He would have weapons around him for the first time in his career

put lebron in kobe's situatuion last year. yes the lakers had talent, but no one on the lakers were actually that good until kobe helped teach them how to win.... lebron has his entire career to figure out how to win the games that need to be won.. like the finals

Ok...now i'm convinced your just not very smart. Seriously...do you watch NBA? Kobe know's how to win and Lebron doesn't? How many former all stars were on the Cavs roster when lebron got there? 1 time? Big Z? yea he's a dominant force. When Kobe came into the league, he had the ideal situation. HE HAD SHAQ! When has Kobe won an NBA final without "All that is man" Shaq? During those NBA championship years Shaq put the lakers....heck the whole town of LA on his shoulders and carried them through the post season, kobe was along for the ride. Yea he hit shots in those series, I know this, I'm not an idiot, BUT it's pretty easy to hit shots when guys defending you know that if you give it inside THEY have to go dig it out. Lebron has put the Cav's (a historically bad franchise) and Carried them into the top teir of the eastern conference. If you put Lebron on a Lineup with Pau and Odom, forget about it, Lebron could play the one, two or three. It wouldn't matter. Lebron brings SO much more to the table then Kobe.

like what?

i agree with everything you said except basketball IQ

i think kobe is slightly ahead of lebron in that.. but Lebron has had much fewer games.. and hasn't played at the highest level possible ( NBA Finals ) as much as kobe..

Lebron will eventually pass him in that too.. just my opinion..

Complete 100% agreement. If i would have to pick between one of the two to have on my team, KOBE hands down

I would choose Lebron. Tell me this.. if somebody on Kobe's team was on fire.. do you think Kobe would feed him the ball, or do you think Kobe would just continue to do it all himself when what the team needs is the ball in the hands of the hot player. I honestly believe that Kobe would not give it away.. maybe here and there, But nothing consistent. Lebron would dish the ball and play more as a team.

Also, Lebron is better than kobe in every area except experience ( which he will eventually have ) shooting, and pressure situations.

LeBron one ups him in MSG.

I would take 52 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds anyday over 61 points and 3 assists. This game just proved that LeBron can do everything Kobe can and more.

Exactly. If you would have asked me this question at the beginning of the year, I would have said Kobe. Now i am 100 percent sure it's Lebron. Like i said in my previous post, he is willing to pass the ball if a player is hot, example is when Williams was lighting it up and scored 40 + i believe.. Lebron just kept feeding him the ball. I guarantee Kobe would not have done that.

what do you mean kobe wouldnt keep giving it to him? kobe's got everyone scoring and he feeds them the ball. Still, if you had 5 seconds left and one shot to win the game i think the ball still goes to Kobe.

thats the thing. if mo williams is 10-11 and they need a last second shot. Lebron will have no problem giving him the ball if hes sturggling if that gives them the best chance to win. Kobe would still take the shot even if hes struggling just because he thinks he needs to be the guy.

hahahahahahahaha, no way, if they have a chance to win , lebron will take the shot. i can guarantee that. and its not because he thinks he needs to be the guy. its because he is the guy. Same thing with kobe, obviously he's not going to pass up a game winning shot. they are superstars.

I seem to remember LeBron passing the ball to Donyell Marshall for the game winning shot in the playoffs because Marshall was on fire in the 4th. He missed it and everyone critized LeBron for not taking the shot.

plus the kick to Delonte West when he was being double teamed. Kobe wouldve taken a fade away far more often then not

it was just a guess..5 full seasons which is 410 games. not counting playoffs or this season. i just figured that about 100 of them were close at the end.

i'm sorry but why would it matter if someone dishes the ball with five seconds left. if kobe has it in his hand with 5 seconds i would feel safer having him shooting than if it was someone that was on fire that night. Most people when they are feeling do well during the game, but when it matters to score the points they can't handle the pressure. kobe bryant is probably the best closer in the league. and as for lebron dishing it to marshall, he was kind of naive for doing so. he should have kept it and shot the ball..

ok so even with out the triple double you are tellin me that 61 and 3 is better than 52 11 and 9 i dont see how it matters if he got a triple double both of there teams won and lebron still had the better stat line.

No kidding. If you honestly believe you would rather see a player get 61 Pts. and 3 Assts. over 52 Pts. 11 Assts. and 9 Rebounds. You know nothing about basketball and should never post under this topic again. I'm a Kobe fan, but even i can see Lebron had the better night.

I will respond to this question as I do every other time it's brought up. Kobe is a better basketball player. He is a better shooter, defender, and closer. LeBron is a better athlete. He is better at creating shots for his teammates with his unstoppable ability to drive the lane. They both did nothing when they had nothing around them. Sure LeBron lead Cleveland to the finals but that was back when the East was still the JV league. Once they ran into a West opponent they were swept. If I'm starting a team I chose LeBron because of the age difference. If they are both the same age, I flip a coin, you can't go wrong with either. When it comes down to who is the NBA MVP I say this year it has to be LeBron. Management goes and get's him a point guard with ability to make plays and they are 27-1 at home and second in the East to the mighty Celtics. You take LeBron off that Cleveland team and they aren't even close to the playoffs. Take Kobe off the Lakers and they still have enough talent to get in the playoffs. They won't go anywhere without him but his supporting cast is much better than LeBron's.

LeBron has better numbers, with less around him.

James: 28.5 ppg, 7.5 rebounds per, 7.0 assists per, 50% FG Cleveland 40-11
Bryant: 27.7 ppg, 5.6 rebounds per, 5.0 assists per, 48% FG Los Angeles 42-10
