have you ever seen a Cav's game? Every dead ball LeBron goes up to a teammate and corrects them or gives them words of encouragement.

Both Kobe and LeBron are great leaders. They are almost equal in the scoring ability. Kobe is a better closer and defender. LeBron is a much better rebounder and passer. Kobe is a better shooter. LeBron is a better power player.

The argument can be made for either one.

ummm, maybe the nba finals last year. they had a young team, and he helped them grow and mature. before last year kobe wanted out of the lakers, but as his team made progress, he grew to enjoy it. he did not just sit down and complain. he helped his team mature. some may argue pau made a great tcontribution, and he did. it takes a leader like kobe to blend everything together. last year kobe did not need to be the primary scorer any more.
