What did you think about Candace Parker's dunks.  I was even more impressed with Michelle Snows.

Not impressed at all, the layups where they then hung on the rim after?

I agree with this guy:

i dont see how everyones so impressed. she can barely get rim. when she won that dunk contest when she covered her eyes and then looked right before she went up, i was mad. their only impressive cause shes a girl.

I agree with 1337, there was no way that shoulda been counted as a dunk. If a guy did that, it would be considered a layup. She's 6'3", of course she can touch rim, and she had to palm the ball and carry it up with her just to "dunk" it. Go home and try again. It was only a "dunk" because shes a girl.

There was an article about this on www.cnnsi.com earlier this week about her "dunks." It was pretty entertaining.

Holy Cow!  Not real big fans of womens basketball I see!  I agree that they were not great dunks but give the woman her credit.  There are great plenty of men and women who are 6'3" and can not come close to dunking.  I laughed when I saw the dunks, but was awful impressed they way she went up with defense on her and powered to the basket.

I also wonder how many people are criticising Parker out of jealousy.  Most people think that just because you are tall, it should be easy to dunk.  Not the case!  I hope that Parker is setting a tone for the future of womens basketball.

COACHWEST, Im not as big of fan for womens as I am for mens but I still follow it pretty close. Yes, shes an incredible athlete. Wasnt there another extremely tall player that was also at Tennessee a couple years ago. If I remember right, her last name was Snow. Not sure. But she could also dunk the ball. Criticising her out of jealousy, nah, Im a nick over 5'10 and I can get it down on a good day:D

I have nothing against womens' sports. Trust me. If you haven't I would suggest you read the link I posted as it says better than I ever could how I feel about this topic.
