College dominance rarely leads to NBA dominance. Alot of dominant college players become nothings while players like Rudy Gay who get 15 a game dominate in the NBA, because the NBA is all about being athletic.

i wouldnt say rudy gay has "dominated" in the nba. his first year averaged 10 points a game....and has just startin coming on this year averageing 18 a game...not really domination.. plus....if your going to say that, i coulud make a list of players that dominated in college and then also dominated in the nba. It s a game of takin a chance you'll never know till they get there.

You misunderstood me. What I am saying is: Alot of players dominate college basketball, not alot of these players will dominate in the NBA. If you take a look at the players who do dominate they are: 6'8'' small forwards with 40+ inch verticals, 7'2'' 280+ pound centers who dominate by the rim, 6'10'' 260 pound 35+ inch vertical guys who dunk everything, a couple shooters at the 2 guard position, and ultra quick point guards. You just don't see hustle players dominating. The ultimate hustle player, IMO Shawn Marion, is 6'7'' with a 40+ inch vertical.

DeAndre Jordan isnt even the best player on his team...anyone heard of Josh Carter?? i cant complain that Rush and Arthur were taken off the list just due to my Kansas fanhood but Sasha Kaun....not a chance. hes 6'11" but cant really do a thing on the college level, how do they expect him to do anything in the NBA. they have all these freshman in the top ten and yet Kyle Singler isnt even on the board at all. just my thoughts

Singler should stay in college and probably will.

Hibbert is a 7'2" Center and he had to gaurd a 6'9" center who beat him up and down the floor every possesion. wait until the Georgetown-UConn game to see 2 "NBA Centers" play with Hibbert vs. Thabeet. Both will be good NBA centers because they will gaurd other 7 footers who play 95% of the time on the block.

I think the wolves should take Beasley if they get #1 but if not then Robin Lopez from stanford he put up 26 against texas and Roy Hibbert got shut down by Davidson who has nobody who should be able to stop him and Kevin Love is way better than Thabeet

Love is a better college center yes, but i think Thabeet is a better pro center. like i said in the last night, him and Hibbert will be playing defense on the block 95% of the time and that is their strength. they arent mobil enough to guard on the perimeter but will be a solid 10-12 year backup center and possible starters. you have to remember Thabeet has only been playing basketball for 4 years. Love has been around it his whole life

Chat Ford of ESPN.com has Brook at the #3 prospect and Robin #29(?), it is somewhere around there anyways.

Robin needs to stay another year at Stanford he is no where near his brothers talent. And I agree that Hibbert and Thabeet will be better NBA centers than Love they will have pretty good careers. But Love will be good as well because of his versatility.

I really don't think thats a great decision, I think if he would have waited another year he would have been the number 1 pick. I think the draft is a little to deep this year for him to go to high.

Who ever has the number one pick would be a fool to not take Michael Beasley. He is an automatic franchise changing player with his type of game.

and along the lines of Psycho T from UNC, He's tough, but he won't be anything outstanding. But then again Jameson from UNC had that same type of personna going into the league and some could say has done BETTER than Vince Carter. Tyler tends to throw himself into players, and in college that might work but in the league he'll get destroyed. So I'm thinking he'll have to change his game around a little bit, but with NBA coaching and a few years he could be a legit player.

Miami has the first pick i say take Beasley...put another scorer along with Wade
Seattle has the 2nd pick, they dont need Beasley since they grabbed Durant last year. Rose is better for them as he would be a player to get the ball to the player they picked last year to be there franchise player. imagine Durant, Rose, and Green in 5 years....

I look for a team other than Miami to get the top pick, I'd wager Memphis. Just because Miami tanked so many games this year, it'll bite them in the behind. Memphis will then draft Rose, obviously, Miami will draft Beasley, Seattle will take Mayo, and the Twolves will get...............? Lopez? Bayless?

I know Rose is alot better, but would Memphis take Rose after taking Conley with their first pick last year?
