I loved what he said....He stuck up for his player, which a coach has gotta do.... NO way is he OVERATED... Boeheim was right whoever those assistants that made those comments will never be a head coach.... Would have love to hear what Bobby Knight would say. :dude:

Good ol' student newspapers stirring the pot. I agree with ndfan, Boheim did the right thing by standing by his player! This could be interesting to watch if the name of the assistant coach comes out if in fact that's where the quote came from. I had totally missed this one news story until I saw this thread, thanks for the heads up.

Looks like an upset in the making, Syracuse beating Uconn at half.  McNamara is playing phenominal and showing how he is not overrated.

Final Syracus 86 UCONN 84 in ot.  McNamara hit an NBA range three with 5.5 left to tie the game and send it into overtime.  He ended up with 17 points 13 assists (career high) and 5 rebounds.

haha there some assistant coaches looking real stupid for the comments they made. School paper looking stupid too for printing it. Glad to see he is shutting up all his critics.
