2007 Minnesota Twins

if Santana is not to his usual cy-young form, the twins dont have as good of a chance that they have to be in the playoffs yet even their own division with the White Sox, Tigers, and Indians.... its going to be getting pretty heated and hopefully the twins will pull off another incredible season that they did last year

the twins always start this way, so does santana. Santana has been the best pitcher after the all-star break over the last 3 seasons. he just doesnt do much at the beginning, and either does the rest of the team. they will start getting hot around the all-star break again, hopefully for them the indians, tigers and whitesox have cooled off

The twins need to stay close in the AL Central because if the Indians, Tigers or White Sox gets hot it could be over in a hurry. They cant wait till after the all star break like last year. They are only 4 games back and still sitting really well. Have some big games vs the Sox and Tigers coming up.

but the thing is is that the twins had a Santana AND Radke and Liriano, you always knew what you were going to get with Radke and Liriano but now we dont usually know what we are going to get from guys like Ponson, Silva, and Ortiz. I was just saying that Johan needs to stay sharp even though it is pretty early in the season because he does have a lot of pressure to win every single ball-game because he doesnt have Radke or Liriano

Don't be too sure. Tommy J surgery is a big deal, though with the advances in modern medicine, I wouldn't blew be surprised if he came back with a vengeance and blew away everyone (including his elbow) all over again.

His mechanics badly need a tune-up if he wants to last a while in the bigs, otherwise we're looking at the most recent case of MarkPrioritis (aka KerryWooditis).

Symptoms:

1. Domination after call-up.

2. Severe (arm) injury requiring major surgery.

3. Subsequent arm and pitching troubles.

4. Heaps of pressure, scrutiny, and general frustration on yourself from fans and the media.

if i remember right, part of the reason the giants let him go was that he was kind of injury prone. they knew he was filthy, but had doubts as to if he could make it through a season?

who did they bring up. and what did they sell to the devil tonight to get 14 runs and have Torri get 7 ribbies. maybe they gave Ponson and his ugly mullet to the devil, that would be nice.

can't remember his name, he is a 1b/dh from AAA that is hitting .305. from everything i've heard they want an extra bat for interleague games and i'm guessing they will probably give morneau some time dh'ing and let his nose heal a little bit.

there is also probably another move to be made later this week...maybe send a reliever down and bring up garza...i think that ponson's slot in the rotation goes again this upcoming saturday.
