MN Twins

Got tired of watching the Twins get eaten up by the Red Sox tonight. Is it just me or is this team going to have to fight to stay .500? Pitchers not named Santana or Nathan or shakey. Sure the bats are pretty decent, but will they be able to score 6 runs/game?

they scored 4 runs in the 5th with a bunch of two out hits.

I think they will be fine. Glen Perkins was probably just a little nervous tonight.

Actually, they've had a fairly decent spring so far.  The pitching has been great with the exception of tonight.  I'm confident they'll be in the thick of things come October. I've said this before, just find someone who can give you 6 innings and that stud bullpen will do the rest.

as long as they don't start slow like they did last year they shoul be fine...i don't think they can duplicate last year's run from june 8th on. that was incredible.

As much as I'd like to see the Twins do great this year, I don't see them filling Liriano's spot in the rotation.  Their division will be tough with Detroit and Chicago.  Perkins and Garza will be okay, but will either be 10 games over .500?

If you guys honestly go by results of a spring training game to predict what their season wll be your wrong. First of all the guys that actually play in the regular season play about the first two innings. Second they have the best bullpen in the league and the best starting pitcher. Yeah their starting rotation isnt the best by i think they will be ok and third they have the MVP and the batting champ so i wouldnt be counting them out based on a spring training game. Im not saying their gonna win their division because imo it is the best in baseball but i think they will be just fine

honestly, as long as only one of espn's babies (boston or the yanks) make it to the playoffs i'll be happy. i don't really hate either team, but i can only take so much from the wwl come september and october.

i don't necessarily like both, but i don't hate either team. to me, they are kind of funny to watch from afar as i sit and ponder how to squeeze 23 homers out of corey hart this season.
