That does sound pretty sweet! I hope they can get it rolling and work it all out. I would think it's tough considering all the other amateur tournaments such as Gus Macker and the Prairie Rose Games. I wish the tournament the best though, I think it sounds cool.

It says up to 20,000 for first place, but wow, who would fork over $2000 to play a little fun basketball.

Come on guys its only $250 a person ;). Your right its way to much if they plan on getting 300 teams it will never happen. I could see $500 a team i think alot of guys would chip in for $500. I would.

It sounds like something the guy has been working on for awhile, not a finished product by any means. More or less a hobby. $2000 sounds like a lot of money, it would be hard for team to come up with that kinda change without corporate sponsers. I'd just keep an eye on it for a while and see if anything materializes, and wish him luck.
