Im watchin the Duke-Carolina game right now was wondering what everyone thought was the biggest rivalry in all of sports, college or pro?

this rivalry is absolutely the greatest in all sports. Just look at all the emotion they play with. The arena is always packed, the crowd is always banging, those kids play their hearts out.

Duke is puke. wake is fake. the team i hate is NC state. You can't get to heaven in a red canoe...cause god's favorite color is Carolina Blue. GO HEELS

i agree the best is Carolina-Duke, i bet the women's field hockey games are even intense between the two.

cant forget Vikings vs. Packers, or UND vs. NDSU. sure they are local, but they are intense and great rivalries.

UND and NDSU dont even play anymore but UND-Minnesota in hockey is quite a big one. May be a little bias here but my personal favorite is Kansas-Missouri in basketball

even tho mizzou has been down in recent years it is def. one of the best rivalrys in college hoops, no matter how good or bad the teams are it is always close and very intense.

i believe any college rivalry is better then the pros. the pros it seems to be more the fans having bragging right...im not sayin the players dont care, but im sure alot of the reason they go out there is to pick up a check. in college its for the players AND students....so ill take college over pros everyday
