Bismarck High head coach Mark Gibson will serve as North Dakota’s head coach. He will be assisted by Dave Colby and Chris Clements, his assistants at Bismarck, Grafton’s Tom Maus, Velva’s Matt Weidler and Towner-Granville-Upham’s Scott Thorson.

The game between the top football players from North Dakota and Montana is scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15 at Connors Stadium in Miles City, Mont.

how do people get selected for this and the shrine bowl games?

Coaches nominate senior athletes from their team. Then, coaches who are chosen to coach the games, chose from the list of nominated athletes.

is there a limit to how many players they can nominate?

I'm pretty sure for the Badlands bowl there is a selection committee that picks the players. Several being from around the Dickinson area including a few DSU coaches.

There is a committee that works very hard to make this game a success. They do not however select the athletes. The coaches selected to work the week choose the athletes.

Oh, okay that makes much more sense to me. I knew there was a committee and I just assumed that they would select the players too. Thanks clearing that up!
