Does anyone have any comments on the young future coming up in the state from lower levels to new players to the varsity scene that no one knows about?

Century has Zach Wentz who is very good. Williston has Colby Rehak. BHS has Andrew Seeberg, who was better then Aide last year. Out East, Red River has 2 guys on defense that will be all staters this year in Galbreath and Ladoucer. South has Powers.

Good point, I almost forgot about Rehak. He is a very skilled defenseman with suprising strength. I have never heard of Seeberg or Wentz.

Is he really 18? Or do you mean he is just old for his age?

Seeberg is  a very fast forward who hits like a truck. Has a pretty hard shot.

Wentz was probably century's best Defenseman last year as a Soph. He should have a good year this year.

Anyone have any say on the 2 young gunz from RR, Ladoucer and Gallbreath? Or Melander that was just behind Mark Mahalka in scoring as a soph?

Or anything about the 6-7 sophmores from Devils Lake that seemed to have a large part of the scoring including all their teams goals in the state tourny?

Talk about your towns hockey near future, up or down.

Ladoucer and Galbreath were one of the best pairings in the state last year. Ladoucer is a hard hitting bigger guy, and galbreath is a very fast somewhat offensive defenseman. Both can put up assists.

Eric Meland is a fast kid. He impressed me last year. He should be one of the leaders in scoring in the state this year.

Kyle eaverson is a real impressive center from DL the kid has great moves and puck handling abiltiy's also with a farily decent shot, Watch out for him next year in the east ill tell you that much he has a natural gift to light the lamp and help everyone on his team better

I was a player.

DL had some good young players. Not the most talented, but definetely the hardest working. And with hard work comes good things. I'm not saying they had no talent, but they were just the grinding type of hockey players who are solid in all ends. Kyle Everson was very impressive last year.

Probably could have if he wasn't held back those couple years. He was a "sophomore" last year on the roster. But from what I hear, that's not true I guess..

Steve Serr is a pretty good defenseman from Mandan.  Look for him the next couple of years.

Cole Frenzel will be a sophmore this year. I'm looking forward to watching him play varsity hockey for his third year. I know he has had some problems with concussions in the past which may prevent him from playing or being as good as he could be. Dickinson will have alot of young players though.. hockey is tough for teams in the west.. east is killer in hockey.

never heard of him but if he is a good player, its unfortunate that he will be playing for shanley.

Nice shot from a person who is obviously a Fargo North parent, player or student. It is similarly unfortunate that Tyler Klein, Tanner Bombenger and anyone else would play at North. They have not made State for at least the last 3 years, and this year they won't again and it won't even be close. South, GFRR, Grafton and Devils Lake.

how much you want to bet that north makes it this year? Im taking all bets. What makes everyone think that devils lake will just come over to the east and make the state tournament? I believe that north beat them last year, but the only reason devils lake went to the state tournament was because they were in the west. Im also pretty sure that north has a way better team then shanley this year.

So North beat Devils Lake last year 1-0. Big deal. Shanley beat Central also, but it did not give them a free ride to State.  Even if you get by Devils Lake, which is doubtful, Central will be ahead of you again. North is a lot closer to Shanley than it is to Devils Lake or Central.
