After that stellar performance against RR, Alex Christiansen looks to be the best goalie in the gf area in the past few years.

Christiansen has always been a good goalie. Just has a little trouble staying out of trouble.

I think that is a tough argument. Not saying it is not true, just tough to compare goalies like that.

WOW bold staement- good ? Yes, BEST in this area for a long time? best in GF?
JPL comes to mind.

Even this year Arnason? pretty good I would say.
there have been some real good goalies in a 100 mile radius.just be careful with such a Broad statement don't you think?

but he is good. Saw him in MWElite League this fall.

Agreed. Many good goalies have come through this region. Debating who is the best is tough to do. Even in comparing Arnason and Christiansen. Tough to do. You can argue that Arnason has the better team around him, but that is not his fault. When he was challenged against Roseau, he played fantastic. As did Christiansen against Roseau. Both are good goalies. Both have the potential to play beyond high school.

definitely christianson over arnason. arnason lacks consistency it seems he only decides to stop the puck when they are playing a good team

Nate ziegelmann (sp?) also comes to mind of the great goalies to come out of grand forks. too bad he bascially rides the bench at UMD.

who does he play for? i dont know who he is

christianson plays for east grand forks so he wont play any other north dakota teams besides red river and central probably
