Whats the reason for Jamestown beating Grafton. Whats the reason for Jamestownbeating Devils Lake when DL beat both Bismarck teams everytime they met. DL played CHS during regoinals too and used them again.

Jamestwon proved their skills when they wanted to. They had quiet a few of down games probably due to poor SR leadership(brett richie)their SR class brought down their team mentally and their SRs got Way to many penalties. All i have to say is that beatin grafton and Devils Lake is not a blupper, they have skill...they just have to learn how to use it everygame not just when they feel like it.

Jamestowns leading scorer Brett Richie had 80 min. in penalties! 80 minutes! he had 28 penalties in 22 games. The teams scoring leader cant lead the team in the box...itd be hard to score from the box. Jamestown probably had a good penalty kill just from him.

Sauce,

We had Emery as a leader, he stepped up when he needed to the most. Patch did what he could. Borks now thats a different story

McBain enrolled at Fargo South but won't be able to play varsity until mid January because of the transfer period.

Dude they're talking about it hurting H/B, not South there bub. South will be just fine, even without all these transfers and such that they're getting.

which is true he would have been another great standout in the west, but now he will play with better players and getting a look at good hockey and see if he can make it somewhere in 2 more years
its okay.....

Mcbains transfer has pros and cons. the cons being that he will have to sit out until january and I would assume gaining respect from his new teammates and getting used to a new environment. The pros are that he will be playing a higher level of hockey with players that are more skilled, This can only help him improve as a player.
If its the thought of a state championship that motivated him to move obviously his odds are better in Fargo than in Hazen.

I agree with fellowes. There are many pros and cons with this situation, but i think the main thing is how the fargo south players will accept him. If they take him in and consider him one of them, then they could be unstoppable this year. But at the same time if the opposite happens, it could mess up their whole team chemsitry and defending their state title.

Mcbain must also get used to the different style of game in the east because there are more better teams in the east then out west.
