What exactly is a scoring chance. I am still baffled by BC 4 scoring chances in period 3 with 0 shots on goal.

I listened to game, and GPR was all over Skogen most of the 2nd and all of the 3rd and Sand didn't see much action!

that was before they posted the third period

apparently a shot margin can be misleading if Minot had 8 shots on goal and 1 quality scoring chance. If you watch hockey you can usually tell when a team has a quality opportunity to score.
