[align=justify]Through 35 minutes of play, the Minot High School boys hockey team had Grafton-Park River on the ropes, but Zach Miller came to the rescue.

The senior forward scored the Spoilers’ first four goals of the game, breaking the contest open in the third period en route to a 6-3 G-PR win.

With the game tied at 2-2 early in the third period, the Magicians had numerous good scoring chances, but Spoilers goalie Mike Sand was up to the task.

Just minutes later, Miller struck on a one-timer, power-play goal, giving his team a 3-2 advantage. Miller stuffed in his own rebound at 10:44 of the third to give the Spoilers a little breathing room.

“We talked about it going into the third, that it was important to get that third goal or it could have gone the other way,â€Â

The magicians were in the game until the 3rd period when their goalie play went down the shoot. It was like he was a whole different player in the last period. He let in some week goals, but congrats to Grafton.

I dont wanna put down Minot but 5 on 5 they didnt stand a chance. I think its kind of funny that both RR and GPR had penalty trouble out west,
