With Red River rolling through the state this year, I was looking for someone who thinks that they will be beat. (lets hear it DL fans)

Yeah, South has improved so much as the year has progressed. :?

Grafton has a chance. But, South is on a downslide that isn't easily corrected (teamwork).  Grafton had a similar problem earlier this year, and it seems to still be a factor in some of their games.

2-1 at DL... looks like RR may have some trouble at EDC and state.  i would not expect them to go undeafeted on the year, but only time will tell.

Did you think that Red River would have trouble against minot???  If I played for minot I would be happy to keep within 5 of RR.

Zach Miller is a great hockey player and he gives Grafton a very good chance in state.

they wont beat south or red river come state, south has to much depth  red river is better defensivley and both teams are deeper in the nets.

GPR has the offense and good defense.  All it takes then is a hot goalie.  Back in 1991 GPR played Jason Myrvik in net for the State Tourney, benching Mario Gourde.  Gourde played all but 3-4 games all year.   Myrvik got hot and his defense played awesome all 3 games and the offense scored one goal per game more than the other teams and they won state.

With as talanted as South is I dont think that they are on the same level as Grafton and RR.  The top line on Grafton is amazing.

How can you say that with South sweeping Grafton during the regualr season? South has two solid lines and the best defenseman (Wurden) in the state. They are on the same level and should be an interesting semifinal game.
