Well since Century is Mandans next opponet why wouldnt people talk about them.  This game is a measuring stick to Mandan to see where they are in the west.

Century over Mandan 4 -  3.....it was a really good game, Mandan lead 3 - 2 going into the 3rd period and Century made a nice comeback and scored a goal with 30 seconds left.

Do the west teams get banners for just making it to state?  Or do they get banners if they simply win a first round game at state because thats a pretty big accomplishment for them.  I mean lets be honest, one title in around 50 years.  And now theres a topic celebrating whether a west team will simply make it to state.

Dr. Pepper, Why do you talk so much trash? Seriously, do you understand the concept of numbers? How many students does South, North, Central, and RR have to choose from when picking a high school hockey team? Do you think teams like Dickinson, williston, century, hazen, or even DL, have the numbers to "Reload" every year like the teams in the east. From what I have seen living in North Dakota is they have a strong year, and then are down a few, until they can rebuild their programs. It is as simple as that. When I was in high school in Minneapolis do you think when we played one of the mighty teams in North Dakota "we talked trashed to them"? Or after, "you guys are just horrible, what makes you think you can come down here and play us?" No, Son you need to give it up. Hockey is a sport, that you play for fun, your fans, and play for the game it self. Don't disrespect the game, by disrespecting people or teams that have no business being ripped on. Its no secret that the west is weak. So let them be. I haven't heard once that a west team will beat an east team. So why rip on them? So if you're a south fan, or a north fan, or whatever, and you want to rip on someone, try to find a person, who is talking trash, and has played you, and has lost, and then rip on them. Because I think a lot of people on here are tired of your same old antics.

great input, also i think when you live in the east, when growing up i believe most of those kids want to play varsity hockey. In the west there is more of a basketball turn out, kids in the east live and breathe hockey more then the west in my opinion.

one of our assistant coaches that coached him in selects said that he heard that logan (martin i believe his last name is) supposedly suffered a broken or fractured tibula or one of the bones in your leg i dont know the circumstances for recovery but it sounded like he would be done for the season but i am not too sure
