The all season's arena in Minot has to be one of the worst arenas to play in for the opponents because of the rowdy student section and it can get pretty loud in there.  What are your guy's picks?

Minot has one of the worst arenas simply because it has poor lighting and when the puck is by the zamboni doors you have no idea where its going their student body definatly isnt the brightest caryon in the box 2 year ago we were leaving ald 3 of their kids yelld at us "you guys play hockey no well"

But seriously i thnk the worst place to play in the west is 1 of 2 places 1st of all bottineu their fans spit on you as well as throw hot choclate or williston we beat them 2 years ago and our jv team got bombarded with a couple of half full bottles of pop

I've been to every rink in the west, the worst is Minot. Not only the students on the visitors side but they have the worst referee's on the planet.

I'd have to say the loudest arena in the state is the Coliseum in Fargo.  Not so much when North plays there but a few games last year when South was playing you could barely hear the person talking next to you.  Jamestown always seems like a tough place to play for the visiting teams as well.  It seems like the games are always much closer than they should be when jamestowns playing on their home ice.

I would have to say the worst arena to play in is wahpetons arena. Its old and like a barn. Plus they have vents that open during the game and they blow snow in from outside. Also once it gets any bit loud in there, you cant here a thing. Its basically like playing outside and not being able to hear at all.

speaking of barns sounds like the lumberjacks facility where you play bottineau, in january it has got to be around 10 degrees in that place
its okay.....

bottineau for sure, your right it does get really really cold in there and it seems like the size of the rink itself doesnt seem to be regulation size or what not but i heard their consessions is worth the trip:P

Hostile would be the Class B towns (Bottineau / Hazen) Where the administration does not force the students to sit on their hands and keep their mouths shut.

idk about the hostile rink, but im drunk and id have to say the most hostile fans arel the grand forks fans. they act just like the colleg fans on the sieve and and ghe bull cheers; haha

I go to und right now and I think during state that students from RR are almost better then we are. I used to og to RR so i know first hand.

definatly not the most hostile place to play but willistons rink could be a pretty hard place to play just because of the olympic size ice sheet. does this make it a harder place to win?

If you're a slow physical team then the olympic sized ice would be a disadvantage.  Skilled teams with good team speed would deffinately have an advantage on the larger sheet of ice.
