Can any of you guys who get to the games, tell us who are some really good players this year in North Dakota?

Is there an award for the top player?  Any nominations?

How about an official northdakotapreps.com player of the year?  Someone with knowledge should make a poll where fans can vote for player of the year in hockey. Since I know very little, that leaves me out.  :?

These are all seniors, basically just went with guys with most points. Somebody with more knowledge could break it down to 3 or 4 guys im sure. Just came up with some names and stats. There a couple of underclassmen you could put on that list too.

I don't know, I just came up with the idea I'm not sure.  We could develop some criteria,  list some candidates, then start a poll of about 10-15 players, each person voting once, but thoughout the rest of the season we could still change our vote.  We could end it and the last day of the state tournament.  Does that sound alright, or does anyone else have ideas?

Here's my top 4 hockey players this year as of right now. You can agree to disagree with it. Is there somebody that deserves to be on this list then one of these guys?

Paul Campbell Grafton PR

Thomas Campbell Grafton PR

Okay, any more ideas, does someone volunteer to organize the poll?  I can make it a sticky after it's up.  Maybe if we get enough voters I can have a certificate made at Kinko's or something and send it to his coach.

Off of the Best in the State conversation, but does anyone know of any sophomores to watch for the rest of this year/next two years?

I know about Mr. McBain, but personally I do not think he is that great. He is just having a really great year. Don't get me wrong, he is a good player and knows the game really well, but I just do not think he is one of the best in the state this year. He plays on a pretty steady line too.

Tyler Swanson, WF is one to watch out for i think. I attended the WF vs. GF Central game earlier this year and he put on a nice show at the end to get the gamewinning goal for west fargo
